BEARFOOT’N LODGE RENTAL POLICIES

Reservations, deposits, payments and refunds 

Reservations more than 30 days in advance:

A minimum deposit of ½ of the total rental amount, including tax, is due within 24 hours if paying with credit card, 7 days if paying by check. The balance must be received 30 days prior to the day of arrival. If the balance is not received 30 days prior to the day of arrival, the reservation will be canceled and the deposit forfeit.

Reservations 30 days or less in advance:

The entire rental amount including tax is due within 24 hours if paying with credit card, 7 days if paying by check.

Security Deposit:

A valid credit card in the name of the person making the reservation must be submitted for the security deposit. A $200 refundable damage deposit may be used in lieu of a credit card. If the cabin is left excessively dirty or there are damaged or missing items, a charge will be accessed from the deposit or credit card.  No rentals to anyone under 25 years of age.

Cancellation Policy:

If a reservation is canceled more than 30 days prior to the day of arrival, a refund will be issued minus 25% of the amount equal to the initial deposit.

If a reservation is canceled less than 30 days prior to the day of arrival no refunds will be issued, no exceptions. The number of days rented will be held and may be taken at a later time, up to 12 months from the original day of arrival. The subsequent reservation is subject to availability, may require additional fees if taken during a higher rental season than the original reservation, and cannot be split to be taken in several installments. The ability to use these days expires 12 months from the original day of arrival. No refunds will be given for weather conditions.

Payment:

MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, PayPal and personal checks are accepted.    A photocopy of the renter’s driver’s license must be submitted with payment as proof of identity.

Other information

Fireplace: 

The wood burning fireplace is available from November through March, firewood is supplied, fire starters are not provided.

Pool:

A community pool is available for a small fee.

Pets:

Pets are not allowed.

Smoking:

Smoking is not permitted, evidence of smoking or smoking odors found after departure will result in a $200 cleaning charge.

The maximum occupancy is 2 adults

Check in time is 3:00pm. Call for early or late (after 6:00pm EST) arrival. 

Check out time is 11:00am.
